Located in the international heart of the Netherlands, the European School The Hague is an Accredited European School.

We offer complete Early Years, Primary and Secondary education leading to the European Baccalaureate.

ESH provides schooling for children of employees of Eurojust, Europol, EPO, EMA and ESA-ESTEC. These children are entitled to a place at our school.

Our Secondary School offers a well-rounded programme of study that incorporates technology to facilitate learning and ensure students are future-ready. ESH places high importance on student well-being, and the holistic approach sees students taking part in outdoor education, camps, community service and cultural trips abroad. Students benefit from the

local community links within The Hague International Zone, connecting their learning with the real world. In this way, ESH aims to inspire students to be responsible, future focused, and proactive citizens of Europe and the world.

Our school has experience in project work connected with digital skills, environment, language and cultural heritage. our

teachers learning about the digital skills, how to make digital tools and to use them efficiently in the teaching process. All student from the 1st grade till the 9th grade learn computer science at school. The digital literacy children learn from every school subject. The teachers have learned the basic digital skills and are able to use them in their work. In the teaching and learning process are the web 2.0 tools used. In our school we use different e-learning platforms. The children have

experience in the programming language Scratch. Additionally, in our school we offer also after school to learn about Robotics.

Since opening in 2012, our Early Years and Primary school provides young learners with a dynamic, multicultural and

multilingual environment in which to play, grow, learn and develop. In accordance with the European Curriculum, Early

Years involves a cycle of 2 – 2.5 years followed by 5 years in the Primary cycle. ESH primary has over 825 children with more than 57 nationalities.

Located in the historic Aloysius building, ESH Secondary provides students with a vibrant, multicultural and multilingual environment in which to complete their Secondary education in preparation for university and beyond. After opening in 2014, ESH Secondary has seen rapid growth and now educates 700 students.
