There is secondary education (12-16 year old students), postcompulsory education or Bachillerato (17-18 year old students) as well as vocational training courses related to Computing Sciences at basic, intermediate and advanced level (FPB, CFGM and CFGS).
In the afternoons, there are also secondary education courses for adult people. Our secondary students come from three different primary schools in the area; therefore, we find different levels since the
families come from varying social backgrounds.

Our high school takes part in programmes like Escuelas TIC 2.0 (Information and new technologies) or
Escuela: Espacio de Paz (Schools for Peace Education), where we try to promote respect and tolerance among different cultures. This projects are renewed every year.In Spain, there are Science fairs like Diverciencia, whose aim is developing an interest in science among young people, and we won prizes several times with projects like A Bionic Hand, Multisensorial Pavilion, Robot Lazarillo (Guide Dog Robot).Last year we were acreditated with the Environment Quality Recognition by Etwinning.
We carried out some projects in our school such as Solar Pannels, how to measure CO2 Filters HEPA and a Desinfection Box.The main people involved in this project are Francisco Rivvera, Antonio Valenzuela and Carmen Urios. Francisco Rivera is a Technology teacher who carries out projects in this field .
Students between the ages of 8-15 are educated in our school. We have 410 students.Among our students, we have many immigrants and students from other nationalities (30% of the total) due to the fact that Algeciras is at the very South of Spain and it is very near Morocco.
This project will be the starting point for our students to work in Digital. They have been working on this field last year and, with this project, they can open their minds to another ways of thinking. With this international Project, they will hâce the chance to check how Science and computer thinking is carried out in other countries. They will develop critical thinking, they will improve their capacity of analysis and they will value team work.
